Hi. I've got a 1976 GB Cruise Air with original floors, cabinets appliances and things. The floor needs a good scrubbing and wax I guess but I'd like to replace it with another floor but should I?

From reading and thinking I've decided to restore as best as possible it's original layout. Somehow I think renovating would be easier but I'd hate to be the one to rip out original stuff b/c when it's gone or out it's gone forever.

I admire your decision to keep your GB original. We bought our'86 used and it was all original except it had some damage in back due to poor maintenance and a water leak. Also, our motor home was bought to be our retirement home and it only needs to sleep two. With that in mind we were able to remodel and add a lot of open space. I never regretted pulling up the gold shag carpet in our Cruise-Aire and lay down a hickory laminate flooring. But, as I said, I admire you and think restored and original RV's are great to look at, but I wouldn't want to own one.
