I have a 97 GB and I've been have a few issues triggering check engine lights. I want to to use my OBD scanner to verify and reset the computer codes, but I can't for the life of me find the ODB plug. I most passenger cars and light trucks it is under the dash near the steering wheel, but I can't for the life of me find it.

Generally - term used loosely - they are on the driver's side but I have seen them on the passenger side. Mine was somewhat buried on the driver's side under a bundle of wiring GBM had ran. I could easily plug in to it - once I found it.
