When we came to Yellowstone this year I noticed the fresh water tank I thought I filled before our daily departures was at 1/3ish when we got to our overnight stop. We leave early in the spring and some places don't have their water on at that time so we bring our own. I figured we had flushed/brushed/washed more than I thought.
I drained the tank a few weeks ago to sanitize things and refill. When I refilled to the point where water came out and shut the water off I noticed the drain down to the overflow levels kept going. By the time it stopped I was just below 1/2 tank. This had never happened before and after 16 years one would think this issue would have surfaced already. We have made no changes to the overflow/vent system.
In searching I have found others that have this problem but most are in 5th wheels. As we all know most GBs have the fresh water tank under the bed. So the inverted P trap fix doesn't quite work.
Anyone else have this issue?

I couldn't find or get an answer as to why it was doing it after all of these years when nothing had changed. I ended up putting a check valve to let air in when using the onboard pump on one overflow line and a shut off valve on the other. I also took the liberty of putting a large sign in the water compartment reminding me to open the valve when I am filling the tank. I know me...
